On November 8, the second session of the tender commission on determining the winners for the best investment project in the field of alternative energy sources was held under the leadership of Volodymyr Merezhko, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.

Let us remind, the competition was aimed at the selection of the best investment project for the future registration of the right for rent the available land parcels of the reserve lands of industry, transport, communications, energy, defence and other purposes.

The announcement was posted for nearly two months at the Regional State Administration website according to the order of Valeriy Koroviy, Head of Regional State Administration from September 2, 2016 № 634 "Some issues of lease rights realisation of the land parcels."

Ltd. "Podillya SolarInvest" and the group of companies of Saudi Arabia, specializing in the manufacture, installation, of exploitation and investment of power generating equipment, information technology and communications submitted еheir project proposals to the commission.

According to the results of the first meeting of the commission, it was decided to postpone the announcement of the winner until the presentation of more information by the contestants, including the experience in implementing the similar projects and additional guarantee letters.

Thus, a group of Saudi Arabia companies has provided an additional letter of guarantee, committing to operate in Ukraine under applicable laws and regulations, as well as an order to the authorized person for the fulfilment of the Contest requirements.

The members of the Commission made the re-analysis of the proposed investment projects, the advantages, disadvantages of each were discussed, and an open voting was conducted.

So, an overwhelming majority decided to declare the winner for the best investment project in the field of renewable energy sources a group of companies of Saudi Arabia,  and under the terms of the contest in 20 days to register a newly created legal entity in Vinnytsia region and to provide notarized written agreements of land users, on the construction of solar power plants on the proposed land.
