During the weekly meeting, Volodymyr Merezhko, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Regional State Administration focused the attention and described the work of the industrial complex of Vinnitsa region for 9 months of 2016 on the branches of industry area.

With regard to the production of food and beverages, the index of industrial production for the same period of the last year is 111.7%. The share of industry in the volume of products (goods and services) for the period of 9 months is 64.9% of the average regional level. The production for 22.7 billion. USD was implemented for the corresponding period. This year there was an increase in seasonal production at PJSC «Vinnitsa Oil Fat Factory", Vinnytsia poultry factory, private corporation Vinnitsa Mlyn, LLC "Vinnytsia bakery №2 and Vinnitsa Confectionery Factory. In addition, the season of sugar refining started earlier this year and the production at SE Nemyriv Alcohol Plant and PJSC "Trostyanets meat processing plant increased. Accordingly, the dynamics of growth of the food industry in January-September 2016 is 11, 7%, "- said the official.

According to the words of Volodymyr Merezhko, the mining enterprises of the region implemented the industrial products (goods and services) for 684.7 million UAH for 9 months of 2016, which is 2.0% of the average regional level. The industrial products (goods and services) of the woodworking industry was implemented for billion UAH that is 4.1% of the average regional level, the chemical industry - for UAH, which is 3.1 %, the enterprise of pharmaceutical industry - for UAH, which is 0.9%, the enterprises of producing construction materials was implemented for 896.1 million UAH, which is 2,6%. The production for 1.7 billion UAH was implemented by enterprises of metalworking and engineering, which is 4.9%, the enterprises with energy supply of the region implemented the products (goods and services) for 5.5 billion USD, which is 15.8% of the average regional level.

According to the words of Valeriy Koroviy, Head of Regional State Administration: "The manufacturers of region are working not on the quantity, but on the quality of industrial products of the region today. And we, at the level of the authorities, have to look for the new markets for quality products, and thereby, to improve the economy of Vinnytsia region"
