As part of the "Partnership for urban development" project in cooperation with the Polish Foundation of International Solidarity, the delegation of government representatives of Vinnitsa region, during 20-26 November 2016 were with the study visit in Poland. In addition, Bolyuh Natalia, Head of Analysis and Forecasting Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development, has participated in the delegation.
Members of the delegation were acquainted with the Polish system of government - the history, legal framework, objectives, and budget.
In addition, much attention was paid to the tools of social dialogue in Warsaw - mechanisms of attracting city residents and building the democratic standards.
One of the interesting directions was acquaintence with the development of some Polish cities, such as Warsaw, Wyshkuv, Grodzisk Mazowieckiy, Lodz. During the meetings with the city leadership, the questions on the urban development strategies and social dialogue, the support for investments to cities (instruments on investment) were discussed.
