The delegation of Vinnitsa region develops the constructive cooperation with Georgia

From 30 November to 1 December, the representatives of leading enterprises of Vinnitsa region, headed by Volodymyr Merezhko, Director of Department of International Cooperation and Regional Development of Regional State Administration with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, had an official visit to Georgia for the strengthening cooperation and the domestic business out on the Georgian market.

During the visit, the delegation met with Gocha Tsopurashvili, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, the directors of the ministry departments and deputies of mayor of Tbilisi, Irakli Lekvinadze and Alexander Rukhadze. During the meeting, Merezhko V.M. presented the agricultural, economic and investment potential of Vinnitsa. The heads of the leading companies in the region presented their activities and informed the Georgian side with export potential. It should be noted that the leadership of the Ministry are interested in the products of domestic manufacturers and, as a result, they are ready to receive a delegation of business directions, in order to monitor the price situation in the market of Georgia and the release of our of commodity producers to supermarket chains.

During the meeting with the deputies of the Mayor of Tbilisi, Chairman of the delegation informed about the Strategy Development of Vinnitsa until 2020 and, as a result, it was agreed to establish the cooperation prospects between Tbilisi and Vinnitsa.

It is pleasant to note that Nazarov G.P., Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in Georgia, have always accompanied a delegation of Vinnitsa region.

In order to be acquainted with the experience of local companies with foreign capital, the delegation visited the «Panex» plant, which operates from 2015 and specializes in the production of wall and roof sandwich panels for a wide range of consumers, construction companies and private developers, architects, dealers, industrial construction.

Also, during the visit, the delegation visited the House of Justice - the state institution of Georgia, a feature of which is the concentration of a number of public services in one building, and became acquainted with the mechanism of functioning of the service center and the main types of services, provided by the institution. In particular, the Ukrainian delegation was shown the examples of registration of passport for 10 minutes, recording procedure for just 5 minutes and the registration of real estate for 7 minutes.
